The first annual Michigan Little Celebration was held in a hayfield by Harriet Hayner and her friends. Over the years, several venues have been utilized, including the Cheff Therapuetic Riding Center (1979), the Kalamazoo County Fairgrounds (1980), and the Ingham County Fairgrounds (current).
